He worked for five years in the Marketing Department of a leading Liner Shipping Agency PIL (BD) Limited before joining James Finlay in 2003. He attended Residential Training Course in “P & I Insurance & Loss Prevention” and” Correspondents Familiarization Course” organized by North of England P & I Club in Newcastle UK in June 2009 and June 2014. He also attended a training course on” Value for Money” conducted by UK P & I Club. He had successfully completed training workshop on “Export-Import Formalities and Multimodal Transportation”, and “Freight Forwarding & Multimodal Transportation” conducted by Shippers Council of Bangladesh and Bangladesh Institute of Management respectively. He attended a training course on ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management Systems) organized by ISOQAR, Bangladesh Ltd. He successfully completed the training workshop on “Improving Managerial Effectiveness” & “Managing Customer Oriented Market Winning Activities” conducted by Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries jointly with south Asia Enterprise Development Facilities. He also attended Familiarization Workshop On “Bangladesh Labour Law, 2006 (As Amended in July 2013) organized by Bangladesh Employers’ Federation in Co-operation with International Labour Organization held on 26th September 2013. He is Involved in handling of P&I claims.

Mohammad Shaheed
Manager

Mr. Mohammad Abu Shaheed has an MBA in Supply Chain Management, M.Com. major in Accounting and Chartered Accountancy course completed from ACNABIN (A member firm of Baker Tilly International Network) Joined JF (Bangladesh) Limited on January 3, 2021, as Manage Lloyd’s Agency department. Since September 1^st, 2022, Mr. Shaheed has been working as the Manager of the Shipping Agency department representing Swire Shipping Pte. Ltd. (An Agent office in Bangladesh).With more than 16+ years of working experience in the shipping and logistics fields, Mr. Shaheed has an extensive background in overseeing daily shipping and distribution operations within the service network of Swire Shipping worldwide and is accountable for tracking orders, managing shipping documents, directing package flow, and ensuring timely delivery of complete orders both import and export cargoes. Besides that, he is well experienced in the field of Survey and insurance claims for Marine Cargo under the direct supervision of M/s Filhet-Allard Maritime (Dedicated to Marine Insurance Brokerage since 1895 with operations in France, Bordeaux and Geneva, Abidjan, Asia, Angola, and Mauritania). Previously joining JF (Bangladesh) Limited, he worked with Golfrate Holdings (Angola) Limitada (A Franchise of UNILEVER South Africa) in Luanda, Angola as Manager (Insurance & Marine Cargo Claims.) since June 2007.

Md. Tanvir Hossen
Executive Officer

Tanvir Hossen is an experienced logistics professional with a strong background in Freight Forwarding, NVOCC, and end-to-end shipping and logistics operations. Before joining JF (Bangladesh) Ltd., he spent over three years at Allgate Group, where he served as “Assistant Manager”. During his tenure, he was also in charge of a third-party warehouse for one year, operated by VisionSpring Bangladesh, a USA-based NGO. In his role as a freight forwarder, he successfully handled over 70 TEUs per month for Savino Del Bene, demonstrating his expertise in operational efficiency and client coordination. Following this, he joined Total Logistics Limited as “Key Account Manager” , a reputed shipping agency, where he managed import and export operations for 3–5 principals simultaneously, ensuring smooth execution of containerized cargo movements.

 Tanvir became part of JF (Bangladesh) Ltd. on 1st September 2025, as an Executive Officer, actively involved in Freight Forwarding and Agency operations. JF (Bangladesh) Ltd. operates under its freight forwarding license name “Cargo Floors Shipping Line”, and Tanvir plays a vital role in supporting its continued growth and service excellence.
